Day 1 28.12.2027
I will greet you at Balmaceda Airport, then drive with you to Coyhaique, to a pre arranged destination. Later that day we will take a look at equipment, route and any left over detail. We will also meet the rest of the team who will make this adventure possible!
Days 02-06
We will hike into National Park Patagonia wrapping around Lake jeinimeni, to our first camp. Next day we climb up a mountain pass towards Valle Hermoso. Here we decide if we venture into a wild valley or gain ground towards Valle Avilés (weather plays a big role here). After 1 or 2 nights in Valle Avilés we arrive at Casa Piedra in the heart of Valle Chacabuco and head towards West Wind for a last night in this magnificent National Park.
Days 07-08
We head towards Puerto Guadal for two recovery nights, we have plenty activities here but above all, a great place to enjoy, beautiful scenary at the lakeside in one of the towns with best weather in Patagonia.
Days 09-11
Our scenic drive will take us directly to the hike's start point, we hike on towards Los Porteadores where we will set up our basecamp for the following 2 days. From here we will day hike (day packs) towards both Cerro Castillo and Campamento Neozelandés
Day 12
Big day. Take down camp, las breakfast and we walk out towards our transport, which will be waiting for us to take us to Coyhaique where your accommodation or late flight will be waiting for you. Time to look out the window and take as much as possible with you.
