Day 01
I will pick you up at Balmaceda airport or around the city of Coyhaique to travel towards Chile Chico on private transport. We will enjoy the view of the famous Carretera Austral, to later hop on a Ferry, at last you will meet our Chucao Adventures Team.
Day 02
We will head towards National Park Patagonia, Sector Jeinimeni. We will load up the van, travel about an hour towards the entrance of the park. After arriving you will enjoy your first traditional mate session , and then we will begin our trek.
Day 03
We will have our morning coffee in National Park Patagonia. After our breakfast we will pack and head out, during this day we expect some river crossings so make sure you have the right shoes.
Day 04
After our morning round, we will head slowly out of the forest, the scenery will change once again as we walk down the Valle de Aviléz towards our last camping spot in this Valley, before we go to the famous and wide Valle Chacabuco.
Day 05
We will head out of this Valle de Aviléz, after making some great memories and with our mind on Casa Piedra, today’s goal! The feeling of the Pampas will start to show up, getting close to the eastern side of the mountain range, windier, dryer and a sight that gets lost in vastness will accompany us until then.
Day 06
We will head out to the Lago Cochrane area, where we will be around the gorgeous Lago Gutierrez. We will be gaining some elevation today, diving again in both patagonian forest, shrubland and losing sight of the pampas.
Day 07
As we begin our descent into the next valley, dominated by the beautiful lago Cochrane, which will once again bring intense light blue colors into our trip, as we get closer, elements like the wind will also take more presence.
Day 08
We will head back and have our last hike, we probably will be exhausted, but fully connected with our surroundings. We will hike along the ridges once forged by glaciers. As we arrive and settle in at our campsite, we will celebrate!
Day 09
I will transfer you to our previously agreed dropoff point.
